Hi doctor, I went to the park here at Michigan and I was bitten by a fly. I wasn't sure what kind of fly was it and I am just wondering if tsetse flies are present here in Michigan that causes Sleeping Sickness or the African trypanosomiasis which is scary. I need advice please. I just want a piece of mind.

Yeah... uh... as far as I know, there are no Tsetse flies in the states. I think you're going to be OK.
