I have a condenser fan off a split outside unit that had to be replaced because of compressor failure. I have a black, a brown, and a yellow coming from the motor. Can I use a regular 110v plug to use it in a standard 110v outlet and where would each wire go? Thank you.

Almost certainly this is a 240V fan. I have never seen a 120v or 120/240v condenser.

If the yellow has green on it, that should be a ground. Was this Plugged into a regular outlet? Says 120 Volts on Motor?

No, all wires are solid color. It was plugged into the capicitor on the unit. Can't read the voltage on the motor.

Youl will need the capacitor as well. Was the unit pluggeed into the wall? From a 2 pole disconnect?

not sure about this.

You have to be sure of the voltage first. Capacitor may or may not be for that, looking at another unit like that, or a schematic will show.
