My Fiancé has worked as a stripper and I can not get over it??
I am a 27 years old man from Iran. Currently I am living in one of the central European countries. I started a serious relationship with a beautiful, smart and educated woman 4 months ago?? We are supposed to get married soon.

But It turned out that she worked every summer as a stripper in another country Just imagine that I am coming from a religious country and family , Yes I know when I decided to be with her I should have considered the cultural differences and I did . But never expected this!! :O She is not going to do it again and it was before me but as a middle eastern man I can not get over the fact that she was doing a sex oriented job and provoking men in erotic ways... but I love her ( I think )...

I don't know what to do? I am so confused , I don't want to make emotional decision... please help me?? /

I think a person from another culture should have an open mind when he travels outside his own community. Culture shock is understandable, so take your time to recover from it, and see if you can accept the new way to look at things. Best done by learning more about it, and in affairs of the heart, learn about the person before giving them your heart.

Truly if you cannot accept them, and the things they have done in the past, things you have no control over, then despite strong feelings for them, its best to leave them alone rather than visit your own negative feelings on them. Or make promises and commitments you cannot keep.

I find it wise you are looking for facts before you leap into this, so have fun getting to know this person, casually without promise. Simply give it time until you have enough facts about her, and yourself before making a deep, life changing decision. Many cannot, when all they need is patience, an open mind and some self honesty.

Remember there is no hurry. Take your own sweet time. Enjoy the getting to know them, and good luck.
