This link may have the info, may have to go further into their site.
It is a JERK thing for a company not to label their terminals, They think you will have to call their Tech/Companies.
I find if the info is not easily available, The unmarked crap gets tossed, then someone else makes a sale. Not Identifying terminals IS Ignorant. They are not thinking about the Consumer.

To make matters worse I've already purchased one. I've emailed Cooper industries pictures of this thermostat and they have not replied. I've called cooper industries and they just bounced me around there different departments.

I think I may have at least some understanding from the info provided. If I attempt this will it damage my heat pump?

If you miswire something and the outdoor unit runs without the indoor fan, or if the electric auxiliary heat is brought on without the indoor fan, then it could damage something. Make sure your fan turns on and off before trying anything else!
Looks like there are plenty of inexpensive thermostats on eBay... I'd get a Honeywell.

TopTechnician is correct with the possibility of Heat, and no Fan and other bad combinations. I was hoping the link or diagram would have solved it, I just looked some more and still can't find your Manual.

If all else, you could set thermostat to cool and do continuity testing of all the terminal combinations, then set thermostat to heat, measure all those combinations.
You will likely at the least need to identify these wires at thermostat:

    Power wire
    Blower wire
    Compressor Unit wire
    Heat wire

Power connects to the Blower and Compressor for cool, and Power connects to Blower and Heat for Heating.
The manual would not only help with the wiring, but programming as well.
    Good Luck.

I believe these are rebranded Climatouch units. Ref. the attached wiring legend, page 9.

Be careful, test one connection at a time.
