    Implantation or early period?
I am due to get my period in 2 days but last Monday I started spotting a brownish discharge. I've had back pain, cramps, fatigue, morning nausea, loose bowels and more frequent urination. Could I be pregnant or did I just experience an early weird period. Ill also add my periods are always regular, and I've been pregnant before I have a 15 month old I had really no symptoms other then a missed period but just knew I was pregnant. I've taken home pregnancy tests and got negatives. But I still feel weird.

    What do you think?

You have tested too early, you need to wait until you miss your period by at least 1 week, then test using the first urine you pass when you wake up in the morning. If that is negative and you still don't get your period, ask the doctor to take a pregnancy blood test, when you are at least 10 days late.

If you had an early response test, you didn't test too early, as you can test 5 days before you period. However, its also important to keep in mind that these early tests are less accurate then if you were to test after your period, or to take a blood test.It is possible that you are pregnant, but the symptoms you are experiencing are also symptoms of an upcoming period. Every pregnancy is different, so it is possible to experience symptoms with some pregnancies, and not other pregnancies, and still be healthy and normal, so your previous pregnancy can't be used as a guide either, unfortunately. I would wait until you are a week late, and test again.

I agree buggage, but the problem being, that the tests that claim to give an early accurate result, still depend on your hormone level being at a certain level, therefore, if you are pregnant and the hormones are a fraction under the required level, you will get a false negative result.
