Can I file a lawsuit in an accident where there were no injuries?
I was involved in a hit and run accident on Jan, 5th this year. The other driver cut me off on the inside of a left turn radius and stuck the front corner of my vehicle then left the scene. Thankfully I was able to get his license plate number and I also have a witness to the accident. The other motorists sold his car and denied the accident. I had to pick him out of a photo line up at the police station to get him charged. It has been almost two months since this has happened and my car is totalled. My girlfriend is 6 months pregnant and at risk for early labor. Knowing that if she goes into early labor I might not be able to be there for her as she works 30 miles away has costs me lots of sleep and mental suffering. I was wondering if I had any grounds for a lawsuit for negligence or anything else. I am located in Pa. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can sue them for the damage to your car, and the loss of use of your vechile ( cost to rent one or use one till you settle and can get another one)

If they have insurance, ( most likely they don't since they are lying about everything) just file a claim with their insurance.
