Ask Me Help Desk - I need to deal with my mom!

Hi,
So I am 14 currently and my mom and dad have been divorced for nearly 5 years. During those years my mom has gotten married to "the man of her dreams" and had the "baby boy she has always wanted". Good for her right? Well she has had child abuse charges put on her about 6 months ago. She had an out burst at my little brother which was 2 at the time. She slapped him around and covered his mouth so he was un able to breathe. She has been continuing this sort of behavior for almost 3 years. She has a problem and needs help. She just doesn't relize what she's doing wrong. She has been so rude to me latley. Yells at me conistantly. I wish I could explain how she truly is.. but its just impossible. I've been depressed because of her. I'm more of a mother to my brother and sister than she is. I am a mother to HER! I do alll the things that she is supposed to do. Everything gets dumped onto me. And at 14 I shouldn't be dealing with all of her crap, and the stress and drama of being a teenage girl on top of all of that. Pleasse give me adivce on what to do with her!!

Where is the "man of her dreams" during all this?

If she is mistreating your brother and sister you need to report her to the authorities.

Where is your Dad in all of this?
