    What cause a chime door bell to continue to ring?
    How do I get a wired door bell to stop chiming? I know how to disconnect it, but how do I connect it, and get it to work right?

    Check the pushbutton to see if it is stuck.

    Brian is right. Check push button. The contacts in button may be compressed. If button is not stuck, replace it.
