I'm 18 I've been raising my little sis since I was 8. she calls me mom half the time and is closer to me then either of my parents. I want to move out but I can't leave my little sis alone in this house because I don't want her to go through the same situation. I want custody of her because she doesn't want to live with my mom or dad and wants to move with me. I'm tired of all the emotional abuse and neglect we get from my mom and I want to take her with me but by law I don't think I can.

You probably can't unless you have your OWN place to live (not sharing), a job which will support both of you adequately, other things along those lines, varies from State to State.

What type of abuse? You may be able to have her removed into foster care until you can get a job and an home and can then take over.
