My cousin lives two hours away from me, but usually comes down to visit every second weekend or so. He is 16 and I am 14. He visited me recently and was very touchy feely with me, to the point where I got very uncomfortable. We've been best friends since we were little and have never had a problem before. He wanted us to play truth or dare one night when my parents were out. The dares were inappropriate and all the truths were sexually related. While we were watching a movie one night and he'd chosen it. It was full of the actors having sex, and his hand was on my thigh the entire movie. Every time I would walk out of the shower, he would be right there. I could just be being paranoid, but I'd like to know for sure. Any help is appreciated! I want to confront him about it, but if I'm wrong, I don't want to cause a rift between us.

This isn't a "confront my cousin" thing. It is a "tell my parents" thing. And please remember that he could be doing this with other girls (or boys). Many lives have been ruined because one person has not had the courage to speak out against sexual abuse, and that is what this is, or at least is rapidly becoming. You definitely don't want it to go to the next level.

I did tell one person, my counsellor. I swore him to secrecy, though. I appreciate your advice a lot, but it might take some time for me to scrape together enough courage to tell my parents. I don't think my parents would believe me in the first place. I will try my best to tell them, though. I love my cousin, and I don't want to see him get in trouble.

It sounds like your cousin needs some serious help. And it's okay with you that he may be doing this same stuff (and worse) to others who might be younger and more gullible? If you don't stop this now and it gets worse, I can almost guarantee he will end up in jail and be labeled a sex offender for the rest of his life. Right now, you can help him. If you wait, it will be too late

Do try, do it. And stop spending time alone with him. This is very inappropriate behavior.
Your parents need to be told. He could be doing this to younger kids.
