Fiancé wants to leave me for another guy
    Hi All

As the titles says my fiancé recently said she needs a break to find herself which left me questioning a lot of things until I found out that she really wants a break so she can be with this other guy.

I've tried to convince her to come back to me, which I now think was a bad idea as I'm starting to push her away from me. Should I leave her to explore and see what happens in due time? I have started talking to other girls in the interim which has been nice. But not great.

Another thing is she has a 3 year old son. I came into his life when he was 2 years old. He is not my blood son but I take him as my own.
I'm finding it very difficult to be away from her and him as I love them both a lot. Two people I would not like to lose in this time, and that she knows as I told her. But she said that I'm fighting this hard because of him, which is true but I'm fighting for both of them.

After I accepted everything I asked her if I can see him she said yes. I don't want to take away the one thing that makes him happy and that is YOU.

But the other day she said I think it's not a good Idea for you two to build a relationship anymore. When I was told a week ago I will always be his father, as he refers to me as his DAD.

What do I do in such a case?

    Please help.

Dude, move on. You were only together a year. It's not meant to be. Get over it and on with your life.

You have little choice, but do as the mom says. Sucks I know, as bonds with kids are especially hard. So this doubly sucks.

    Let them go.
