My boyfriend was arrested march 2012 for fleeing, grand larceny, mallicious mischief, weapon charge, and receiving stolen property. This is his 1st offense for all charges. He has court on nov 13 2012. The time he has been doing will count towards his sentence. He in jackson,ms. they found the weapons in his house under a bed but not in his bedroom. Will he be able to serve half of sentence or does he have to do the whole sentence day by day and how much time is he looking at ?

We are supposed to know how much time he will serve because weapons were under someone else's bed? That part won't have any effect at all.

Ask his lawyer. A lot depends on his lawyer, how strict the judge is, how serious the crimes were, how crowded the jails are...

A weapon in the house, even if someone else owned it, is still the charge.

What is the "weapons charge" since if he was not a felon from another case,having a weapon in his home is not illegal. So may I assume he did have a felony some time in the past.

If the weapons charge is a felon in possession of a weapon he is looking at 7 to 15 years just on that normally with about 3/4 having to be served.
So with all of the crimes, I would say he is looking at 10 plus years at least, unless he can plea this down and perhaps about 1/2 to 3/4 served.
