    Probation Officer MTR
In Texas. Under what authority does Court PO file MTR for not putting start and ending dates on logbook for ODL. I do put mileage as well as have a interlock device with camera and timestamp. Can PO dept ignore written order for them to waive my probation fees from the judge. Is there a committee who foresees any actions which may be wrong.

The PO just has the authority as a officer of the court, to recommend violation of parobation for what they feel is a violation of the rules.

It is then up to the judge to determine if the probation was or was not violated, and if it was, what wlll be the punishment.

So basically doing motions to revoke, is their function that they are hired and sworn to do.
