Running a 4" ABS. Upstream about 5' will be a 4X4X2 Wye for the tub with it's own vent, plus another 4X4X2 Wye for the washer with it's own vent.

The main's stack vent will be about 6' downstream. I believe that meets code since there are 2 vents upstream of the toilet, am I right? Also, is that a 'good' scenario?

It all depends on which code prevails in your area.

If you're on the Left Coast, where the UPC is King, then you need a separate vent for the water closet -- If you're anywhere South of the Manson-Nixon Line, then I'm going to have to bow out.:D

According to the sbcci code you cannot discharge a washing machine, dishwasher, or disposer into a line within 10 feet downstream of another fixture, and definitely not upstream. Vented or not.

Wow! Thank you so much for that, you saved me cutting all that out (for the second time LOL)

A side bar amusing story: 1st: Home depot didn't have 4X4X4 Wye's so they sold me Tees telling me it is all right to use them laying them horizontally. I knew that didn't sound right. A customer of mine (I sell interior and exterior millwork) informed me of that and I hasd to cut all that out and go to a plumbing store for the Wye's.

2nd: Sears sold us a stackable washer/dryer that the door only opens to the wrong side so now I have to replumb the bathroom to flip the design so you can actually use the darn thing. <sigh>
