Is it possible in heaven to chose spouse. Is it OK if I expect my lover to be my wife in heaven if she is married to somebody else in this world?

According to the Bible, there will be no marriage or giving in marriage in Heaven.

May I ask for clarification of the term 'lover'? In my culture it is usually used to describe someone with whom the person is sexually active. I know in other areas it can be used as a description for a very close girlfriend/boyfriend but does not mean they are sexually active. The reason I ask is because your question is based in your religion and could be affected by your earthly behaviors.

I will say that though I cannot answer the religious aspect of your question I can give you advice if you want it. Are you expecting to marry your 'lover' or do you think she may be destined to marry someone else? Is she already married?

She already is married and I don't have any option but to hope that there will be a day when I would manage to live with her.I know it sounds rubbish and I should move on but I just can't help myself and unable to ignore her.I just wanted to know whether if I fail to reach her than is it possible to have her in the heaven or not? We never have had any sexual relationship
