I had my hair dyed 24 hrs before an ETG urine test... it turns out the 3rd ingedient
In the dye is alcohol denat... should I be concerned?

It's possible. The denatured alcohol could create enough EtG to remain in your system up to 24 hours. It's unlikely but possible. Alcohol is very volatile and can easily penetrate your scalp, enter via sweat and sebaceous glands and is then readily absorbed into the capillaries. It's not unusual for cosmetic products, particularly dyes to contain alcohol for just that reason it easily penetrates the hair shaft. Add to that, as little as 1 gram of alcohol can create EtG above 100 ng cutoff. (Thierauf, 2009)

The package should show a percentage alcohol.
