This is probably a late eighties - early nighties American movie. This is what I remember of the plot. A family (father + mother + blonde daughter) goes to vacation in a tropical island on their boat. There they encounter a old man and a young tribal. The blonde is introduced to spirituality and meditation by the young guy and soon both fall in love with each other (a few steamy scenes included). The most memorable scene is when the girl and the boy go to her family's boat to make out but get caught up in a storm instead. The blonde dies and the heart-broken guy later commits suicide. Tragic but still would love to watch it again. Any ideas? IMDb links are welcome.
