    Sore bellybutton piercing--what to do?
Okay , so I got my bellybutton done 5 days ago by a friend. I've been cleaning it with sea salt and contact solution.. its really sore and every time I bend down , sit down , or move too much it hurts. Now the top ball is digging into my skin , could it be that she pierced too much of my skin? I'm very paranoid and my parents don't know about it.. and I'm too scared to see a doctor. Is any of this normal?

Is your friend trained to pierce skin? If not then that was very silly, you may have an infection or it hasn't been pierced properly, piercings will be painful as they heal up, so it could be just the healing pains.. But really you should see a doc to be safe.

She really shouldn't be piercing because the equipment she's using may not have been sterilized and cause infection, I had my tummy pierced when I was 12, my uncle did this for me but he's qualified, I don't remember if it was sore as it healed as this was 10 years ago, if it gets worse, please make an appointment with your doc, or tell your parents. Better be safe than sorry :)
