I was granted De Facto Status in a dependency case in California. I have also been granted Prospective Adoptive Parent. I would like to know how I go about requesting discovery? I have no idea where to begin. I have been told my the county that I do not need a lawyer for anything. I have researched online to no avail. I want discovery for the court files (hopefully) from beginning to end.
