Can we use double y or t fittings in Massachusetts for double vanity sinks
In Massachusetts you need a double sanitary tee fitting (see image)... ;)
I attached a picture of acceptable drain setup (ignore the water pipes... only image I could find at google). If you need to know exactly why just let me know, OK?

I agree with Mark, sanitary tee is not an ordinary Tee so pick your parts carefully
Ohio code says you must use a double sanitary tee. A double Y is illegal because the vent opening is lower than the waste openings. IMO the double Y is better because it is a better waste opening and you can snake out and get into waste, without going through the one side of double tee and into the other side and missing the waste opening, but I guess the code makers know better.
