I have a Maytag Bravos toploader washing machine that I replaced the drain pump in about 6 months ago. Everything worked well after the pump installation for about 3 months. However, in the last few months there are occasions where the machine will start the draing cycle and the pump will not shut off. Sometimes I can get it to shut off by pressing the power button off, pressing it back on and hitting the pause/cancel button. This past weekend the only way to shut it off was to unplug the machine.

Where do I look and what do I look for? I forgot to mention, it is not throwing any codes.
