    SSI/SSDI for child with ADHD
I am a single mom of 2 children and I collect SSDI because I have narcolepsy. My son who is oldest collects SSDI as a child of a disabled parent but my daughter does not because they said we were maxed out on allowed benefits. My son has ADHD and I have heard of children qualifying on their own to collect SSDI when they have ADHD. My question is, can my son collect SSI or SSDI for his adhd when he is already collecting as a child of a disabled person? If not is there any way to have my daughter receive the monthly SSDI payment instead of my son so that he is free to collect for his own disability?
