I was at work one day as I was leaving the job I accidentally hit another car that was parked next to me, I left the scene but I came back and no one was there so I reported the incident to my dispatch office and told my supervisor, but later on I found out that my coworker had called the police and made a report, I tried to get the other person name and information to give to my insurance company but she refused to give them the information. So my question is How much trouble am I in? And what should I do now?

Was your co-worker the owner of the vehicle? Its unclear who refused to give who your insurance info. But what you should do is go to the police and turn yourself in. Since there was only property damage it shouldn't be too bad.

If you don't go to the police you could be ticketed for leaving the scene.

Yes, leaving the scene of a accident is a serious crime in Georgia ( for driving crimes) you can loose you license up to a year and have a 1000 dollar fine. So what possessed you to leave and come back.

But has the owner of the car you damaged contacted you yet ? Did you leave your name and contact on the car ?

Have you reported this to the insurance company

Yes the owner of the other vehicle has contacted me and she also has my insurance information.

Well since we worked at the same place I thought we would handle this ourselves but I quess I was wrong to think that.

If the owner of the vehicle is willing to handle it then you should be OK. But they can report you for leaving the scene.
