My daughter dropped her son off at my house 11 months ago. 2 weeks later she brought me the crib and all his clothes. I have not received any financial help from her at all since December. She does see him about once a week, for about 20 minutes, but will not even babysit him for me. We are being transferred to a different state and I don't know where we stand with him. She signed a notarized grandparents custody agreement, but it can be revoked at any time. She refuses to take him home. Is there anything I can do that won't cost me a fortune?

Did you take that agreement to court for it to be ratified? The only thing I can see for you to do is to go to court and apply for permanent custody. You shouldn't need a lawyer unless she gets one to fight you. In which case, you tell her sire if you want him back here!
