Hello, I have a casablanca ceiling fan without a light fixture and I'm adding today a universal light fixture, I have connected the blue wire from the fan to the black wire of the light fixture and white to white, but it is not working, I do not have 110v at the blue / white from the ceiling fan, did I do sothing wrong or there is something specific about the casablanca fan ?

Connect the blue to the black hot lead in the ceiling box.
