Partner is putting our unborn baby at risk.
I am 39 yrs old . 30 weeks pregnant and financially dependent on my boyfriend whom I am seeing for 9 years . I have 2 kids aged 14 and 20 scholar and Colledge student both girls. My partneq promised early in pregnancy in last trimester he would move in 2 support or care 4 my kids i.e. required 2 stay in hospital. I have gestational diabetes and was booked for admission 2 weeks ago. I Want to go 2 hospital but he now refuse 2 care 4 my kids. I don't have any relatives close. My 20 yr old daughter just had her appendix removed recovering operation. What I don't get is he an Educater amd takes me shopping and all. Aware of danger of diabetes to unborn baby. How can he expect me to leave my 14 yr old daughter alone at home. Why agree and now leave me with this impossible choice. I need please advise thank you .

You can't force someone to be a parent, but you can force him to pay support for his child. If he doesn't help financially then you take him to court for support.

Yes, how long would the "kids" have to be alone, and is one of those kids 20, even the 14 year old is possible to stay a day by self even 2 if they are mature.

The 20 yr old is in hospital recovering frm her operation. As 14yr old is imature. We live in a area why crime is high every second road there's 3 to 4 drughouses or shebeens. I need at least a week maybe 2 in hospital to get my blood glucose stable.
