Right wing zealot and perpetual dufus, Michelle Bachmann makes horrendous false accusations against an honorable American. The attacks on Huma Abedin have been condemned by John Boehner, Marco Rubio, and John McCain.

Now, she runs away from the cameras just like Sharron Angel did when she went overboard. The problem with Bachmann is she's a member of the Intelligence Committee..

She needs to LOSE her post and be censured by the entire House. She's despicable.

The letter by the Reps to the State dept does reference Huma Weiner 's family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood ;which is an indisputable fact. If that is relevant to her being granted security clearance is unclear. Should family ties be a factor in determining security clearance ? Absolutely ,and have always been so in the past. Classified information is not a right, and reasonable concern about “divided loyalties” is sufficient for a clearance to be denied... Or at least it was until we got PC.

But that was just referenced in mention in the letter . The bigger point was that the State Dept has recently made decisions and actions that seem to favor the Brotherhood;an organization still listed BY THE STATE DEPT.as a 'terrorist organization '.This is the same organization that documents produced as evidence in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation prosecution,showed was in a “grand jihad” to destroy the United States.

It is a proper role of a House Intelligence oversight committee to investigate such an apparent contradiction and shift in US policy related to the organization . It is indisputable that the State Dept policies have become Brotherhood friendly in Evita's reign.

Now for Senator McCain... he also is a bundle of contradictions.
When he was asked during the 'Arab Spring ' if he was concerned about a Brotherhood takeover of Egypt ,he replied : “It concerns me so much that I am unalterably opposed to it. I think it would be a mistake of historic proportions.”
He was “deeply, deeply concerned that this whole movement [toward democracy] could be hijacked by radical Islamic extremists.”
So back then he called the Brotherhood radical Islamic extremists;but today he dismisses the fact that the daughter of founding members of the organization is a high ranking member of the State Dept ? Huh ? He thought they had no place in a new Egyptian government :"I think they are a radical group that, first of all, supports sharia law; that in itself is anti-democratic — at least as far as women are concerned. They have been involved with other terrorist organizations and I believe that they should be specifically excluded from any transition government." But he shows no concern about the possibility of the daughter of one of the founders having a role in the US government .

I guess the real question is who does McCain hate more ;Muslim Brothers or Conservative Tea Partiers ?

For one thing ;I think history has proven McCarthy right. But as for Huma Weiner ;she has more direct family ties to the Brotherhood than her father .

As a good liberal, I TRY to empathize with people... I try to put myself in THEIR shoes to see the world through THEIR eyes... When I look through YOUR eyes, I see a government infiltrated by communists, and radical Muslim terrorists - TRUE enemy's of the US..

I took an oath the defend this country against all enemy's foreign and domestic... If I believed what YOU believe, I could NOT, in good conscience, mind my own business building my company and feeding my family.. Nope. I would have been REQUIRED to take ACTION to defeat them... Clete McCarthy didn't "persecute " anyone. He tried to tell the truth .A truth that has been more than verified by the Venona Intercepts if you care to researrch the truth . Almost every
Case he made has now been proven correct.

Clintoon's decision to give Hani Nour Eldin, a member of Gamaa Islamiya ,a terrorist group , a visa to not only enter the country in violation of the federal laws... but to be granted a meeting inside the White House with National Security Council officials.He used the opportunity to call on the US to release the Blind Sheik ;the mastermind of the 1993 WTC bombing attack.

The letter says they need to INVESTIGATE the POSSIBLE link to to which Brotherhood tied individuals have helped achieve the adoption of these State Department actions and policies. It accused Huma Weiner of nothing . If she was properly vetted given her family ties ,then there is no issue . That is why a letter also went to the Inspector General .

These types of inquiries are requested all the time by both parties. It is the proper role of a Congressional Oversight committee to raise these issues. On a national scale it is much more important than investigating steroids in baseball or which country made our Olympic athelete's uniforms .

If it was anyone else but Bachmann ;a Tea Party leader ,this would not have even made the news.(The TP angle also explains why establishment Repubics are quick to join the condemn Bachmann chorus) .

Yes I read her letter, and as usual she spouts crap with no facts or foundation, and going on nut wing shows like Glen Beck spreading her misinformation doesn't help her cause or concerns. I mean she even said that Rep Keith Ellison has ties to terrorist and extremists because he is a Muslim.

The religious Christian right is no more sane than the fundamentalist Muslim, or its Jewish counter parts. The conflict between them predates the crusades and is waged even today in some form or fashion.

Now you can mimic her fears and buy her hatred but they all were spawned from the same tree, rooted in the same old testament of the bible. Many of the followers, most have evolved beyond the tribalistic thinking but fundamentalists have not, and the Ramadan controversy is settled law, but what would you expect from someone that takes government money to cure gay people?

So we finally agree my facts and her facts are correct. Good . Now the question is what prompted the change in policy ? That is what Bachmann is asking answers for . The Brotherhood is still a State Dept designated terrorist organization .As far as I can tell;that classification has not been removed .

That doesn't mean they cannot be engaged does it??
