I am on probation for 18 months I just gat a new case my probation case is a felony my new case is a miss.I have been toold the new codes and laws change a lot

Does not change your past conviction or probation if there are new code or law changes.
So you have told your PO that you got charged with a misdemeanor, the PO may violate you and you will have a hearing on what will happen to your probation
