My boyfriend will get mad when I'm texting a family member. He does not like me hanging out with them at all. He gets mad when I'm in a restaurant and will ask do I see anyone I know and to let him know everything. He talks bad about my family. He does not like me hanging out with my best friend. He yells and cusses at me because he will get irritated about something his fault. I told him about a job offer and he got mad and told me I need to talk to him about everything I do first. What should I do?

He sounds controlling. Relationships like yours can become abusive. Get out while you can.

You can't change someone. Just make sure you are careful if and when you ever break up. If he is so controlling, he may not be easy to get out of your life. Be careful.
