    Stihl chainsaw seizing up
    Stihl 041AV chain is seizing up after cutting for a short time. Sprocket seizes, clutch is free. Tried two different bars and chains. Could it possibly be something in the oil pump although it oils well. Thanks

    Hi,
    Do I gather you mean the sprocket on the tip of the bar? Could easilly be the pump, but I would guess a dirty oil pickup or old oil line that is collapsed on itself.
