Any information on this artist -- where he was born, lived, painted, etc. Have googled his name and find two of his paintings on e-bay and widely disparate asking prices. Can find no information on him at all -- only others asking the same questions. Who was he? A friend has a large painting of his -- river scene -- impressionistic, romantic, quite lovely. Any information about this artist would be appreciated.
