I have a whirlpool cabrio dryer that won't spin or start, the lights on the panel come on but when you push the start button it just hums for a few seconds and stops. Im hoping it's a simple fix, I assume it can be the belt, or I have read so far on different posts with similar problems, it may be the motor. I can not spin it by hand easily I have done so only once so far this morning, the other attempts I cannot spin by hand at all.

You will have to tear it down, clean it, and find out what the problem is. You need to clean it really well and take out all air ducts and clean them out by washing them out.
