Been trying for 7 months to get pregnant
Me and my husband have been trying to conceive for 7 months now, we have both had all the tests but still no baby which confuses me more and makes me feel like it will never happen. We are doing everything right, regular sex, non smokers, healthy eaters etc but still nothing I feel like giving up every month when I get my period as it breaks my heart a little but I know I cannot give up. Does any one have any similar experience or stories with a positive ending or any more advice of things too do to help?

    Thanks all

What do you mean by "regular" sex ? If you mean all month that may be the issue there. You need to track ( not with some computer app) but by checking body temp and more, to see when you ovulate, ( not all women do it so many days after period) then you don't have sex during less fertile days and have sex before and during the most fertile times of ovulation.

Doing that, it can sometimes take a healthy couple over a year to get pregnant. I know a silly teen will get pregnant the first time they pull their pants down but a married couple will take a year sometimes.

    Hi,

Thanks for the response. I have a clearblue ovulation monitor which detects my peak days. My doctor says you should have sex every other day as too much sex and can effect the quality of the sperm. So I am pretty sure we are doing everything right. It is so frustrating, we waited to start a family until we were married, been together a long time, could afford it and had our own place, seems unfair sometimes.

I am older, and was a widower, I married a "younger" women some years ago, Our doctor had us do no sex what so ever for the two weeks that were outside the best period, and then do basically the every other day the 10 days leading up to the most fertile times. Also some doctors have the women take vitamens to help

It took my wife and I about a year and half.
