    Receptacle keeps burning out
My refrigerator outlet burned out. It is on a 20amp circuit. I replaced the 15 amp outlet that burned out with a brand new 20amp outlet and the refrigerator ran fine for about five days. Now the oulet has burned out again. The circuit breaker is fine and turns on and off with not a problem as I turned the breaker off to replace the refrigerator outlet. What can be the problem? Is it the refrigerator plug, or, is it something wrong in the electrical system of my house? Both times when the dedicated refrigerator outlet burned out, I plugged the refirgerator pulg into another outlet in my kitchen and the refrigerator goes right on and runs fine. It is a dedicated circuit for the refrigerator and the circuit has not been modified or added onto since the home was built in 1995. The refirgerator is is from year 2003 and is a GE Arctica. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it burning up at the prongs, or at the screws?
If it is burning up at the prongs it is most likely the refer plug.
