The dryer runs but doesn't get hot, also it doesn't shut off when the time should be up. I turned both breakers off and back on, ckecked for lint clogs, still not working

The most likely cause of the dryer not heating is a bad heater. The heater is located behind the back panel and tucked into ducting. The part no. is 279838. The fix is pretty easy and you can get the part online. Just be careful and disconnect power before you do job.

I would check the thermal fuses and the element with a meter before ordering parts. You also need to take it apart and clean it out well. There are several safeties plus the element that can be bad, also the timer is probably bad, too. Don't waste time and money ordering parts before knowing for sure what you need, unless you just want to throw your money away.
