I am nearly 50 years old and have NEVER been in love. Plus, no one has ever loved me. What's wrong with me? I have always loved children but don't have any of my own. Since the age of 12 I've I wanted to die. Tried to leave earth several timees, but Always manage to wake-up.
Also, is it possible to be in love with my (same sex) best friend and why?

I can understand that you are in pain, but truly speaking its difficult to understand what you want to say exactly. What about your parents and family members? Do you live alone? Please give a detail account of what you do, where do you stay, with whom do you stay and all. Then it will be easier to access your problem. Thanks

You are not alone. There are a lot of people in your shoes, people you would never expect to feel unloved or unwanted. My very best friend is very attractive, fun to be around, has a good job and has never met anyone she's fallen in love with or the other way around.

As far as children - I always wanted children and don't have any. Sometimes life doesn't seem fair.

Of course it's possible to be in love with a same sex person. I don't know what you mean by "why."

If you are or have been suicidal you need to be treated by a medical professional. Are you under medical care of any kind?

I have been married , have a family who I do love, but still have never felt that special love back at all... think that's what's wrong concepts of love. My heart feels hardened because of this I just cannot accept love. It is only my burden no one else's My heart was only lifted by the birth of my daughter all was fine until the divorce then my fantastic adorable child had her world torn apart and my heart hardened again. Thankfully my daughter is a well adjusted child and I have shown her much love although she may have found it superficial. I think I show love not in kissy way more in a I do things that will help. I show love and kindness to all but I don't seem able to receive it back...
