I have a rescue GSD he is about 7 he has never been a big eater. He has been having trouble with his left hip. I took him to the vets a couple of days ago and he was prescribed Loxicom.

The problem is you need to give him the drug after he eats. I also wormed the dog last week with Drontal. I gave him the Loxicom this morning and then gave him lots of his biscuit treats.

He is still drinking water and he weighs 36 kilos.

Try pouring gravy on his food or heating it up, if that doesn't work then give him dog food one piece at a time. This all helped my dog eat. And if your going to heat his food up, put it in for 10 seconds.

If you want to raise a dog you will need to hand feed for his entire life this is good advice - otherwise children should not be posting on adult boards.
