Parents are continually verbally and physically abusive
I am a 15 year old girl, 16 in a little over a month. My parents are continually verbally and physically abusive, and I now have a no contact order on my father. My mother kicks me out of the house almost weekly, and my only other option is to stay at my sisters apt. However my motner than proceeds to report me as a runaway, and its almost a game for her amusement at this point, as it has been going on fof months. I want to know what my options are to get away from my abusive home, and into my sisters functioning home. I live in Washington state if that makes a difference. Multiple people and adults I have spoken to strongly recommended emancipation although I don't know how that process works. I also have a 4.0 gpa in school and a job.

You may find it difficult to convince the court of your financial independence, but you have a good start with the job and good grades.

If your parents allow it you can talk to your sister about guardianship. It will have to pass through the courts buy it allows you to move in with her.

She kicks you out, you report her to CPS, or call the police on her first.

If they abuse you by hiting or other force, report them to the police.
