I have a doubt... yesterday I had intercourse with my husband and the condom he used broke... bt both of us are not sure if the sperm got deposited in my vagina bt his sperm were found around the vaginal surroundings and the bed... so the very next morning within 12 hours I took a normal contraceptive pill... so will there be any chance of gettg pregnant... what are other ways to avoid unwanted pregnancy... my last periods date was on June 28th... please reply

Are you already on the Pill? Do you take it every day at the same time? If so, you shouldn't get pregnant.

Regular pill? The normal monthly pills, or did you go to drug store and get the morning after pill?

A "normal contraceptive pill" won't prevent pregnancy, if that's the only reason you took it. Are you on the pill to prevent pregnancy? Remember that no form of birth control is 100% effective. If you are trying to prevent pregnancy from this encounter you might want to consider the morning after pill before 72 hours is up.

Since your last period was June 28, you are now playing the waiting game as you have to wait to see if your next period comes.

I started using this pill before 12 hours of intercourse... I'm using this pill for the first time... I didn't get an emergency contraceptive pill, so the pharmacist asked me to take it which is normally taken on the first day of menstruation cycle... pharmacist said that by taking the pill it can make the blood come... so I'm taking it since I can't wait till menstruation

No that pill you took will have no effect on stopping the pregnancy if it were to happen, sounds like you misunderstood or got bad advice.

Regular pills have to be taken from 20 to 30 days regular before they have any effect. And even then they are not 100 percent at preventing pregnancy and have no effect on someone who just had sex. If they did, there would be no need for the morning after pill.

How old are you really ? It sounds like you are either very uneducated on pregnancy or very young .

But yes you are going to have to wait till time for the next period to know if you are pregnant or not.
