I am a very dark brown haired female (almost black) with long hair and I would like to stop dying my hair. What are some ideas of the best (most efficient and least painful aesthetically) way to go about this without cutting my hair? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you for taking the time.

If it natural dark and you've been going light that's simple dye the light hair black to avoid the ugly roots and go from there but if it's the other way dye as light as you can and leave it alone

The best you can do is let your hair grow out naturally. Once your hair grows out, you should consider getting the colored part cut off because it might look unpleasant having two-tones in your hair.
