Can I remove my biological fathers name from my birth certificate?
I'm 18 and would like to remove my biological fathers name from my birth certificate. Can I do this. He has always fought paying child support and even though he makes good money he doesn't want to help me with college. I haven't seen him since I was 2. At that time he tried to kill my mom.

No, you can't. It's a record of the info concerning your birth. Like it or not, he's your father.

Depending on where you live he might be required to continue child support and/or pay for your college expenses.

This is posted under adoption. Were you adopted?
