    Circuit breaker or other problem?
My bathroom and bedroom are on same circuit breaker. I went to shampoo the rugs and power went out in those 2 rooms, I went to box and reset breaker and still no power. Couple days later power came back on. My power went out again in those 2 room went to reset breaker and no power. Would replacing the breaker fix the problem or could it be something else?

    David,
Sounds like a bad connection with intermittent contact...
If you take out the receptacles that don't work, notice how they are wired... are the
Wires around the screws or are they "back stabbed" in holes in the back of the receptacle?
Devices with the wiring back stabbed show up like what you are describing.

Circuit breakers rarely have intermittent problems so I would look at all the non-working receptacles first...

The ceiling lights are not working either in the 2 rooms. The wires are around the screws in the outlets.

Do you have a voltage tester? Do you know how to use it?
If not, an electrician would be a good idea...

I think I will call an electrician, I don't have a voltage tester and not sure how to use it. I figure I would ask because someone told me to just change the breaker, but I don't want to mess with it if that isn't the problem. Thank you for taking the time to help. I really appreciate it.
