Ask Me Help Desk - Guys take advantage of my body?!

Ok, so I'm 13. Ive had a serious boyfriend in feb through April. I really liked him and he "liked" me back. I found out he only liked my body and was dating me because he didn't want to be a loser. And a few weeks ago, I get into another relationship, I reeally liked the guy, again, he only liked my body and tried pressuring me into sex. I was uncomfterble. I ended it. I not going to tell anyone because jt wasn't a big deal. We were inly going out for a week and I do t need to deal with him. So there's this other guy that likes me and I really like him too. And I know he's not like the others. I would like to still talk with him, but since school ended, we really cant. I do t have his number but we live close by. I know this really isn't a question, but I've bee depressed about being taken advantage of And I just want to be in a relationship where he likes me for ME and not ( or a little) of my body. How do I talk to my crush/ get over my depression?? Thanksssss!!

Teenage girls everywhere have a tough time with this, and it's one reason why so many adults want you to wait to date! Boys' hormones are surging and they are having a tough time too, but in the old days parents kept a close lid on dating so that sex had to be kept out of the picture for a few more years. Girls really do have to watch what they wear and how they act so that they aren't teasing and flaunting. What they often think of as just flirting and having fun is really a come on. So... we don't know anything about you, how you dress or act or if you are well developed for 13, or what. All I can say is that 13 is too soon for a 'serious' boyfriend! Stay in groups for another couple of years. Have a crush from afar. Keep your girlfriends and talk to them about being wanted just for sex and how it feels - friends are infinitely more valuable than loves right now, and always, for that matter.

First off, you kids take relationships way out of hand. I've had like 3 relationships in my entire school years and two of them were in 9th grade. I used to know a 13 year old girl who bounced from "boyfriend" to "boyfriend" in a matter of a day sometimes. Eventually, everyone in her school knew her and not in a good way. She dated just about everyone. You don't want to be like that girl trust me.

Now as far as your concerns, you need to focus on school first, and boys last. You're too young to see how important school is right now but once you get into high school, especially senior year, you'll want to do the best you can so you can go into college. College is the ultimate goal. You'll probably find your husband there so every relationship you have from here until college will just be an experience. As you can see though, at times it hurts even though these relationships you're having aren't exactly real. Boys at that age are immature and they literally think of sex and nude girls all the time. If you want a guy to like you for who you are, you have to basically wait. No one goes into a relationship with 100% certainty that their boyfriend or girlfriend are honest, down to earth people. Guys will present themselves as gentlemen at times just to have sex with you. Focus on school first and just be friends with guys at first. Find out how they act around you as a friend for a while and who knows, maybe you'll see that they aren't they type you thought they were.

You are right, they weren't serious relationships but I'm very sensitive and even the slightest emotion throws me off. Im mature for my age and cover up pretty well. I just ha it with relationships for now
