We have wood paneling that was painted yellow. I stripped most of the paint off except in joints. Can I thin down paint to match my décor and go over the wood to cover the yellow or do you have other suggestions. Thanks!

Yep, I have done that. You can actually fill the wood joints with drywall mud, sand and prime and get a nice wall. If you go to Sherwin Williams or another good paint store you can get thin non woven covering you put over the wood and after paint looks like finished drywall
