    Cat in Labor?
Our young cat got pregnant unexpectedly. She is in labor, but no kittens after about 5 hours. She has a bloody mucus like discharge, a lot of it. And she has contractions every few minutes or so. Still no kitten. I only feel one kitten when I touch her, and she is a fairly small cat, but the kitten seems small enough for her to deliver. Am I worrying unnessacarily?

    tickle
Just let her be; the mucous is the first, the kittens after. Don't touch her or the kittens when they are born. She will know what to do.

Perhaps getting her spayed would be a good idea afteer this litter so you can enjoy her company without worrying about cat in labor.

Now what will you do with the kittens ?

There is a lot of mucus, more than she can clean away. And we actually have a taker for the kitten(s) when its born. My neighbor who gave her to us, lost her brother (the cats) and would like one of our kittens. I think she may not have more than one, so it is taken care of. She was sheduled to be spayed, but we found out she was pregnant. A very young pregnancy.
