I have a Hoover wide path steam cleaner, model # F7410-900 and the spin brushes have quit turning. Everything else is working just fine. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong.

You will have to take it apart and find out why it is not working. Does it have belts to drive the brushes? If so they could be broken. Check the motor that drives the brushes. It could be a burned out motor or switch. You will need to use an ohm meter to find out what the problem is. You cannot guess at it and be able to fix it without a meter.
If it's still under warranty the DON'T take it apart. Phone hoover and see what they can do. Even if it's out of warranty they might help for free.

Its not under warranty. It isn't any good to me the way it is. My husband is pretty good at fixing things like this. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar problem before we get into it. Also I have tried to find a belt replacement. It doesn't seem to have one.
