How long will he be in jail?
My boyfriend is currently under custody for the city of alexandria in va. He has been arrensted for possession of cocain and marijuana as well as for false identification. The possession if cocaine and marijuana are charges that aren't his but they gave them t him anyway, when he was arrested he didn't carry none of this with him all that he did was lie about who he was when the officer asked him at the time of the arrest. But another thing is that he also has a couple of other charges for the county of faifax also in va. Those charges are: possession of a firearm, attempted robbery and violation of his probation. All I want to noe is how long is he going to be behind bars?

    Hello Jen:

If I could tell you for sure, I would... But, he's got problems layered upon other problems, and those problems are layered on others still..

The charges of marijuana and cocaine were given to him by the officer that arrested him when he was arrested his friend was with him at the time my boyfriend did not carried the marijuana and the cocaine with him but his friend did so they basically gave his friends charges to him.. and then they tired to charge him with attempted robbery something that he didn't do and has no clue about.

Sorry actually it does not matter if he had it on him or not, if the state law reads that way, In Georgia, if you are in a car and there are drugs in the car, every person in the car can be charged. If three people are in the park together and one has drugs on him, they all can get charged.

But he needs the best lawyer money can buy, since these charges can get him a 10 to 15 year sentence with him serving at least 5 years. >>> not the pot or cocaine unless it was a lot, but add it to the robbery and yes.

Perhaps if he can do a deal, testify against the other people, he can get a much lighter sentence, but his attorney needs to be working on it.
