I only get my period for three days a month sometimes I get it twice a month. Someone told me that reduces my risk of getting pregnant. Is that true?

I used to have 3 day periods when I was a teenager. How long does your cycle usually last? Do you mean 2 times a month like every 15 days or 2 times a month like every 26 days?
