Could I be pregnant, or just having birth control symptoms?
Hello, Im just concerned about what could possibly be happening to my body right now, and I hope I don't lose you anywhere. STAY WITH ME! Now, I was put on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo about two months ago. I took that first pack successfully and my period came normally during the forth week of the pack. The day my period ended, which was this past valentines day, I went to visit my boyfriend for the weekend. We of course had intercourse ever night I was there, but that weekend I was having big trouble starting my new pack and taking my pill at the same time everyday and so on. I became so fustrated to the point where I just quit taking my pills about 4 day ago. Yesterday I started spotting and I basically have my period again. But that's not my real concern! Backing up about a week ago when I got back, I was feeling really nauseous for a few days. Now I'm wonder if at any point I could have gotten pregnant, considering the fact that sperm does last in the body for up to 5 days and last week I could have started ovulating, and this bleeding could be "implantation spotting". Iwouldnt be able to find out for another 10 days if I'm pregnant or not!! Could it be the side effects of me abruptly ending the pill, or could I be possibly be pregnant? PLEASE HELP! I HOPE I Didn't LOOSE YOU

Sounds as though it is just you starting your period. You did not follow through, so your body is reacting by having a period because of the fluctuating hormone levels.

It could be either. I'm afraid the only way you are going to know is to take a test. Don't fortget that the pill is not 100% safe, even when taken correctly, so by not taking them at the same time each day then stopping them, you increase the risk.
