There was this racing movie in which I remember was this scene where the gear would jam up during the lap and the car pits... the chief mechanic(hero) jacks the car and sprays the fire extiguisher to cool down the gearbox.. then it shifts back to normal and the race is won... oh yeah, another info, the driver and this mehanic were not in good terms but eventually the driver learned to trust him... anyone kows this movie?.
